What is Cirusère? Cirusère defines a certain aesthetic that is highly sensory and reflects specific preferences. It’s high brow and low brow; it’s luxurious and commercial; it’s of-today and also deeply referential to the past; it loves frivolity and prizes intellect.

At the root of the word Cirusère is ‘cirrus’ which connects to the idea of fantasy and one’s head in the clouds. Cirusère is my attempt to create a tangible expression of the world in my head.

The Cirusère Image Reel is meant to conjure a few minutes of escape, to create a pre-weekend daydream. Building the Image Reel each week is such a fun, creative pursuit for me and I truly appreciate you letting me pop into your inboxes every Friday to join along.

Clothing is also an expression of Cirusère. In April 2023, I launched my first product, the Domino. Thank you very much to those who have purchased it or spread the word.

Creating the Domino was the first step as I work towards my dream of building a Cirusère product line to complement the Image Reel.
